FRONTIÈRES Platform at the Marché du Film – Festival de Cannes

The Frontières Platform in Cannes is a dedicated section of industry programming & networking events for the genre film industry at the Marché du Film. The Frontières Platform is a co-presentation between the Fantasia International Film Festival and the Marché du Film – Festival de Cannes, and is co-funded by the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.

Frontières Platform Programme includes :

  • Proof of Concept Presentation - Presentation of proofs of concepts from the Frontières Finance & Packaging Forum participants, followed by an invitation-only networking lunch
  • Goes to Cannes - Buyers Showcase - Presentation of 4 genre films in post-production, seeking sales agents. Sales agents, distributors and festival programmers are given an opportunity to discover genre films in progress. Presented as part of the Goes to Cannes section
  • Fantastic Fanatics Mixer - invitation-only networking cocktail at the Plage des Palmes for the genre community, to be co-presented with likeminded genre industry events

CALL FOR PROJECTS
BUYERS SHOWCASE 

Call for projects are now open for the Buyers Showcase, a presentation of work-in-progress films.

Deadline : March 1st 2018 

IMPORTANT

In order to be eligible, the projects must in in a post-production stage and seeking sales agents or buyers. 

You must complete EACH section of the form; submissions not following all the requested guidelines and providing us with the supporting document will be automatically rejected. 

In order for you project to be read but the Frontières selection committee, these supporting documents ARE MANDATORY. 
Your documents can be submitted in French or English. 

- Video URL link of your work-in-progress (max. 15 mins) 
- Long version of your synopsis (2 pages)
- CVs of your Director(s), Producer(s) and other key member of your team 
- Director's intentions
- Budget (including the acquired budget)
- International co-production intentions 
- Look book 
- Current partners letters of intention or documented proofs
